Retina specialists and ophthalmologists
LEARNING OBJECTIVES Upon completion of this CME activity, the participant should be able to:
- Explain the value of pay-for-performance and predict the long-term implications of the program.
- Discuss and evaluate the process for fellowship accreditation in retinal societies and the existing opposition to subspecialty certification.
- Summarize the current status for reimbursement of ASCs and debate whether retinal specialists should transition to ASCs.
