LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this CME activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Trace the history of optical coherence tomography (OCT) technology and discuss current innovations including spectral domain OCT
  • Explain how OCT is used for different ocular diseases and discuss the value and limitations of the technology.
  • Determine which patients should undergo OCT and discuss how the results should be used to manage treatment.
